First i will define media as television and technology as 21st gadgetry. In reality, today's technology affects every value of humanity. Sometimes they used it as mechanism to express what they wanted to express. Sometimes it may lead to destruction and create violent instruction.
We cannot deny the fact that today's technologies greatly affect today's value system. Nowadays, many companies race to product the latest high definition television . I sighted to as one of the forms of media which undeniable influences us specially to students like myself. This image producing machine is two sided. It has a good and bad effect to us. Let me start stating its negative effect. One of those is that, it holds me stay watching it without noticing how much time i wasted just sitting in front of this thing. Second is that, some of the scenes in it makes me curios and do it personally without thinking that it might harm not only me but also the people around me. talking about the negative side it does in my value system, it molds me into a person who i don't wanted to be. But i am not general saying that all that can wanted in a television does have the same effect on me. it has also positive effect on me. First is that television feature many movies that lets me be knowledgeable to the current happenings in this planet.It also adds the information about so many things which i can use probably in the near future. With respect to my value system. TV's lets me realize that what i am currently doing is wrong and through it. I can correct the manners that is to be change. Technology like cellphones also are responsible in the transformation and evolution of my attitudes toward life. i don't say that this media technology thins should be diminished in this world. its up to us people on how we handle it. Enjoy using the gadgets but do not let it invade you. live to the fullest. Do not change. be always who you are.
